Production on iPhone 5S screens from Sharp to begin in June

iPhone 5S

The iPhone 5S production will begin soon, if a recent rumor is to be believed. According to the rumor, Sharp is planning on beginning production on the screens for Apple?s next iPhone this summer, and pushing for a Q3 release date.

While the screen will (most likely) stay the same as the one found in the iPhone 5, production orders have already rolled into Japan Display and LG Display, and apparently production has already begun at those other locations on the screens. While the iPhone 5S has yet to be announced, it is rumored that the device will feature upgraded internals as well as a new fingerprint scanner built in.

What do you think about the iPhone 5 rumors? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think about the rumored iPhone 5 successor.
